Chin

The crease running between the lower lip and chin can become more prominent with lower face aging and filler treatment is frequently performed for the reduction of this crease.  This area can be more successfully treated when botulinum toxin is used in conjunction with fillers to freeze the chin muscle that encourages the crease to form.

The areas to be treated will be frozen with dental anaesthetic.  

Mild mental creases usually require half a syringe of filler (the remainder can be used elsewhere if you wish) and moderate to severe creases require a full syringe.
