Sculptra works through a series of injections which immediately fill the depressed areas of the face caused by aging skin such as; hollowed cheeks and sunken eyes. While some results of Sculptra are visible straight away, the true effect of this treatment becomes evident after a few weeks and subsequent treatments. A progressive increase in volume will become apparent as the dermal thickness expands and gives the client a fuller, more youthful and fresh-faced look.
Sculptra is perfect for anyone wishing to improve the appearance of the skin and treat facial fat loss. Sculptra treatments usually involve between three and six sessions, with 80% of the treated area showing a vast improvement. Once carried out, the results on average usually last for a period of two years, but in some cases, touch-up treatments may be required to maintain the desired effect.

What happens after Sculptra?
Treatment with Sculptra takes around 30 minutes, after which you will notice an immediate improvement. This improvement will disappear within 24 hours but over the coming weeks there will be a gradual improvement as the body lays down new collagen and fills out your skin. It is important to massage the treated area for a few days after the treatment, and your clinician will advise you about this. There may also be some temporary redness, swelling or slight itching at the site.
How will I feel during treatment?
A fine needle syringe is used to apply the treatment, and because we apply a numbing cream or local anaesthetic, the procedure is painless.
